My name is Peaches R. Larro, and during my 26-year career with DEA (mostly in the Philadelphia Office), I was a Special Agent, a Diversion Investigator and a Diversion Group Supervisor, where I was responsible for a large population of registrants encompassing all phases of controlled substance handling.  I have conducted and supervised hundreds of industry audits as well as successful civil and criminal investigations.  As a DEA subject matter expert, I have also given numerous speeches on all facets of controlled substance handling.

After retiring from DEA in 1996, I was hired by Wyeth as their Director of Controlled Substance Compliance, where I created and implemented systems to improve all facets of controlled substance accountability and compliance at numerous Wyeth manufacturing and distribution facilities.

I left Wyeth in 2002 and became the Director of DEA Compliance at Baxter Healthcare Corporation; where I oversaw record keeping, accountability, quotas, year-end reports, ARCOS, and all other controlled substance details associated with large manufacturing and distribution operations.

On June 30, 2009 I retired from Baxter and started my consulting career, leaving time for my wife and grandkids, and golf, of course.

I have extensive knowledge of solid, liquid and parenteral (injectable) controlled substance manufacturing and distribution processes, procedures and related DEA requirements, as well as associated testing, waste/reject management and the all-important accountability of controlled substances, etc.  I am also very familiar with DEA requirements dealing with List I chemicals, such as ephedrine and pseudoephedrine.
